Slug began in 2020 when a simple net bag of oranges on the side of a Miami road sparked an idea. Months later, in New York City’s Garment District, that vision took shape as the first Slug 1—crafted from a repurposed pair of orange denim jeans.

Driven by a passion for adventure and a perseverance for quality, over the course of 4 years, our team traveled to Europe, Japan, and back to NYC to refine and manufacture our design.

In October of 2024, the first Slugs were released into the world.

Rooted in friendship, creativity, and the spirit of exploration, Slug is not a bag—it’s a companion for the beautiful journey of life.
